Burnt trees as far as the eye can see. But we can also see epicormic growth (e.g. tree on extreme upper left), new grass growth, and grass trees making a comeback.

At some point in the past a fire trail had been bulldozed along the ridge here in the vicinity of Front Tableland (and kept relatively clear). It was one of the first places to show substantial regrowth post-fire.

The black and brown of the scorched earth, the green for life appearing again – the land recovers from the fire.
