Another view of the terrain around Limbri. It must make an interesting job for the linesmen who maintain power and phone lines.

Heading back to Armidale, and following the Main North Line (the railway), we pass through Limbri [map], being just a handful of houses. This homestead is nestled in the hills adjacent to the road. The travelling’s slow – as slow as 40 km/h in windiest sections.

The grey afternoon, filled with the rumbles of an approaching storm, brings wonderful light to the scene.
