Water-worn rock

As we headed up the Macleay we came across this wonderfully water worn outcrop. How many years I wonder, did it take for water to abrade the rock to create this form?

Here we’re setting off up the Macleay River on a trip from Georges Creek (on the Armidale/Kempsey Road) to Kunderang Station.

[The trip was in October so the River, albeit low, has more water in it here than it does today in drought].
