A visit to Broken Hill isn’t complete without a visit to the Living Desert Park. It’s a flora and fauna sanctuary, it has a walking track that displays local Aboriginal heritage, and it has a sculpture “symposium”.
It has been the case, though, when we visit in Winter, that the park displays itself as a grey, windy, cold place. Rug up well if you visit at that time of year.
It is a great spot of visit and that particular sculpture is very special. I see the country is still looking very green out that way.
