Red-necked Wallaby (with Joey)

The Red-necked Wallabies have become relatively common around the house. They’ve supplanted the Eastern Grey Kangaroo to a large extent though, perhaps, this is just a seasonal adjustment and the Greys will return. But, for the time being, with the Red-neckeds being less common, it’s a pleasure to have them around.

Joey in pouch sneaks a look at the camera while Mum stays alert looking out for trouble. They don’t seem to mind too much as I pass them with the dogs (on leash).
