This is Bridge Street, Uralla. It’s also a section of the New England Highway, part of the inland Sydney to Brisbane highway.

And at the bottom of the hill is the bridge of Bridge Street over Uralla creek. It doesn’t actually look like there is a bridge in this picture. The current bridge replaced a much narrower one – I think in the 1970’s. Some very large elm trees were also cut down to make way for the new bridge.
I pass through occasionally, but rarely stop these days. The gun shop refuses to sell black powder and the second hand shops have changed! Pitty.
