The Lands Office in Tamworth celebrated its 110th birthday last year. It’s a beautiful Victorian-era building; if only I had a wide-angle lens to get the whole of it in shot.

To my eye this is a very beautiful building. I am guessing the design was very modern for 1900. The deep, colonnade style of the verandah and the oversize archways around the doorways I believe were particularly modern for 1900.
Armidale’s Lands Office is a more imposing building, two storey with an iron lace verandah of an earlier era.
