“The Little Dam”, to the north of the house, is so named because it’s smaller than “The Big Dam” on our property. The rain of the past several months had been light and drizzly, so this dam hadn’t filled until recent summer storms caused a fair amount of runoff. The green strip in the right-hand-side foreground is part of the track that I mow to form “the western loop”, a 1.2 km (3/4 mile) walk around the western end of the property.
A beautiful looking spot, just right for setting up a camp.
