Yesterday’s photograph was a close-up of part of one of Bronwyn’s mincemeat tarts. They’re something she makes as part of the Christmas traditional – and I do my bit by eating some of them.
It’s a strange name – “mincemeat” – as there’s is no meat in them (these days). The mincemeat is usually just a chopped dried fruit plus some spirits – Bronwyn uses sherry.
Those are lovely indeed. And I have followed your travels in recent months with great pleasure. Thanks.
