A relatively new development to the area is Coles Supermarket and associated arcade. A previous occupant of part of this site was Woodward and Purkiss, garage and car dealer.

I’m yet to see a recently built shopping centre that isn’t a hideous building…meanwhile we once calculated that within Coles the aisles stretch for over 1km.
