I’m on a day-trip from Armidale to Kempsey on the most direct route – a slow-going, mostly single-track, gravel road. The link to Google Maps should open to show the road running from the top left, to the bottom right of your screen.

The Armidale-Kempsey Road can just be seen here, dropping downhill, from left to right, in the top third of the photograph. This stream drops over some falls and is just about to flow into the Styx River.
