The elusive Rock Wallaby

I shouldn’t be too disappointed with the quality of this image – it’s a hand-held capture at 1520 mm zoom on my compact camera. It’s about the best shot I could get of the elusive Rock Wallaby. These wallabies are extremely at home hopping up and down what would seem like sheer rock faces to you and me This one was one of about a dozen wallabies seen near the Macleay River, Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, Long Point.
