Petroglyphs at Innamincka Choke

Petroglyphs at Innamincka Choke

Between the Dig Tree and Innamincka, at the eastern end of the Cullyamurrra waterhole, the Cooper Creek flows through a narrow choke formed by rocky outcrops (known as the Innamincka Choke). There, about 20 metres from the edge of the creek, can be found a number of Aboriginal petroglyphs chipped and scratched into tens of rocks.
