Storm at Settler’s Cottage

Storm above Settler's Cottage

Storm clouds gather above the old settler’s cottage.

  1. Jon Burne says:

Now this picture I really like.
The abandoned farm house in the open field rising to a tree-topped ridge of granite boulders is typical New England Tablelands. Even more familiar is the pile of storm clouds filling the sky beyond.
But in your picture the storm clouds feel like some other world landscape into which the familiar country scene has been mysteriously transplanted.

  2. Richard Watson says:

Great Piccy. The clouds seem to conform to the outline of the trees.
