No people in sight

With less time to spend looking for photographic material during weekdays, there’s not much thought behind the subject material. There is some, just not much.

An audioBlog accompanies these photographs [3.3 Mbytes, 6 min 17 sec duration]. The audio commentary is also distributed as a podcast. You need to subscribe to my RSS2 feed towards the bottom of the right hand column on this page and you need to use aggregator software capable of utilising this. The photographs are also included within the .mp3 file. View them via iTunes artwork, for example.

Callistemon in flower. Dense, red flowerheads. Common name is “bottlebrush”, named after shape of the brush which is used to clean the inside of bottles. It’s a shame I didn’t check the depth of field – hence the out-of-focus flowers on the right hand side. Lesson: don’t rush.

After-the-storm debris
No, not Autumnal debris, but that which is left after a storm.

Lunch is over, nobody to be seen
No more lunchtime, no more people.

Green landscape
Green landscape reflecting the decent amount of rain of late. Decent clouds too.

More green landscape
The road leading home.

Sheep and puffy clouds
The puffy clouds were the main reason for this photograph. They seems to stand out in front of the rest of the image.
