Anyone for cricket?

An audioBlog accompanies these photographs [1.7 Mbytes, 4 min 33 sec duration]. The audio commentary is also distributed as a podcast. You need to subscribe to my RSS2 feed towards the bottom of the right hand column on this page and you need to use aggregator software capable of utilising this.

A walk through my day, from not long after sunrise, to not long after sunset.

My shadow through the dog run netting
I noticed my shadow appeared to be walking between the “gate posts” to the dog run. The netting is in the foreground, my shadow on the ground behind it.

Cigarette butts jammed in public bench
Smokers! How lazy can you get. Rather than deposit butts somewhere appropriate, the smokers have jammed their butts under the wooden seating on this bench! Yuck!

Cricket pitch looking for players
A cricket pitch awaiting the players. It looks idyllic with shade in the foreground, a green’ish pitch, and trees in the background. The clouds look like they’re a storm in the making. But nothing happened.

Moonlit sky
Closing the gate behind me on the way home I tried my hand at capturing the moonlit sky.
