When I first caught a glimpe of these leaves, I thought they were seed wings. As a boy I used to pick seeds from sycamore trees, hurl them in the air, then watch the seed’s wings fall to the ground, rotating like helicopter rotor blades.
These “wings” aren’t quite airworthy – althought they almost rotated while falling.

The contrasting colors in this are wonderful, very nice.
very nice! great find for the theme
awesome idea,
I have a maple tree in my front yard, and it has those helicopter-like seeds. I didn’t know that sycamores had them, too. This is a great, creative shot for the theme. 🙂
I used to do the same with those wings, lol
~me too, I still twirl them through the air~
LOL some things make us forget we’re supposed to be grown-ups ah? 😉
twirl these seeds in one of them
