Lake Maraboon, about 25 km from Emerald (pop. 11,000), was created when the Fairbairn Dam was built in 1972. This view shows some fairly choppy water created by the strong winds at the time.
Great movement and drama in this photo (sorry, I don’t know proper technical terms… I make up my own lol), both in the water and the sky.
