Outback 2011: Bladensburg shearing shed

An indicator of Bladensburg National Park’s history, the shearing shed now sits unused. The old wool press sits in the middle of the floor area.

The six stands where the shearers would have stood to shear the sheep, then shoved the shorn sheep out the chute. [Say that five times quickly].

The chutes down which the sheep exited the shed.

Old shearing sheds make for wonderful photographs.
