A colourful, albeit slightly nibbled, coral fungus adjacent to the track leading down to the Chandler River near Hall’s Peak.
What an amazing thing … I’ve never seen anything like it. Inspired by your photos I did a morning walk the other day but the day was grey so not a single shaft of sunlight. I saw some fungus but only little things nothing like this beauty. I like the pointy little plaints around it too.
